NTX School Garden Network Spring Meet Up

We are looking forward to learning all about the school garden movement in Coppell ISD, that has been growing big, strong roots in all schools in the district. Find out how their Nutrition Department has led the way in the initiative. What does it take to build a district wide program? Coppell has the answers and we can’t wait to learn from them.
The Plan:
9:30 Meet at the Coppell Senior Center / Community Garden, then drive to Wilson Elementary, Middle School East and Coppell High School garden.
Slow Food DFW & Whole Foods will provide Plant a Seed kits to all attendees.
As a bonus, the Coppell Farmers Market is happening this same day at 8am-Noon. It is one of very few 100% local markets and you may want to add this to your agenda, before or after our meet up. It will be a great morning and we can’t wait to see you all!
**If interested, Coppell ISD will hold their annual plant sale on March 12th at the Coppell Farmers Market, 8am-Noon, just in time for spring planting.
