Slow Food DFW Offers Farm Scholarships to Texas Organic Farmers and Gardeners Virtual Conference

Slow Food DFW is offering 10 scholarships for North Texas farmer/ranchers that sells in the DFW market to attend the 2021 TOFGA Conference Virtual presentations and roundtables from January 5-February 25 on T and TH evenings. This conference focuses on education and advocacy for Texas farmers, ranchers, and gardeners who practice organic and sustainable measures. Being virtual – speakers and participants will be from a larger range and will gather to share and learn about sustainable practices in farming, share in local farm food, build stronger food justice for markets/businesses farms. The scholarships will cover the registration for the virtual conference which will include access to presentations for up to a year. Applications for scholarship are now being accepted now through December 31 at 5pm. The scholarship recipients will be contacted directly by Slow Food DFW within a few days of deadline.

Slow Food DFW encourages all farms, ranches and food advocates to be a member of Slow Food USA, however it is not a requirement to apply.
